Both the Bucs and Patriots are succeeding this year and could possibly even play each other in the Super Bowl
In October before Patriots played Bucs for a regular season game Keyshawn Johnson spoke about the game on First Take . Although it was just a regular season game everyone knew there was some sort of extra pressure on both teams due to the history of Brady and Belichick. Keyshawn even went on record saying that
“He(Brady) will not sleep Saturday night... he may be in his room pacing back and fourth”
Belichick Heard the Hate
After last year’s Bucs Super Bowl win people were quick to push the narrative that Tom Brady was the main reason for the Patriots’ success. Well it seems that Bill Belichick took all those statements personally. The Patriots are currently sitting at #2 in the AFC, and with their dominant defense along with Rookie QB Mac Jones they seem to have a bright future. Tom Brady’s Bucs on the otherhand just got shutout on Sunday night and lost star receiver Chris Godwin for the season. Even without Godwin the Bucs might still have the best roster in the entire league. If we do see a Super Bowl matchup of the Bucs and Patriots, the Bucs will be favored. That game would be Tom Brady’s to lose, he has just as good of a defense while aslo having a significantly better offense. If Belichick were to pull off the upset that would be far and away the most impressive win of his Career and would likely cement the idea that he was the main reason for Patriots success over the last 20 years.
