Are we going to see back to back MVP's from A-Rod?

Even after having an extremely controversial offseason, Aaron Rodgers came back and might just win another MVP.

While many are trying to push the narrative of a "New Age" in the NFL with these young QB's, guys like Rodgers and Brady are refusing to let that happen. Even though Rodgers and Brady are both almost done with their careers they are still running the league. The reigning MVP has his team currently sitting at the #1 seed in the NFC, at 11-3 (11-2 with Rodgers).

Aaron Rodgers is Vegas' MVP favorite with +125 odds

Right behind him at +200 is Brady but after the Bucs recently getting shutout it seems his odds will continue to fall. In third place at +750 is running back, Jonathan Taylor. Taylor makes a very good case as a running back because how much he is carrying the Colts. He currently leads the league in rushing yards and TD's with 1,518 yards and 17 TD's on the ground while adding 2 receiving. Also the last time a non quarterback won the award was in 2012 with Adrian Peterson who finished with 2,097 rush yards along with 12 TD's from the ground. The biggest reason Rodgers is favored over Taylor has to be because the Colts are a wildcard team while the Packers are the #1 seed in the NFL. While Rodgers doesn't lead the league in passing yards or touchdowns he has the highest passer rating in the league at 110.4. The Packers came in to this offseason not even knowing if Rodgers would ever suit up again. He originally was demanding a trade and refusing to play for the Packers organization. There was a point where it seemed more likely for him to be on Jeopardy than in the NFL. After all the issues they seemed to come to an agreement and with no offseason practice Rodgers come back and got destroyed Week 1. After the Week 1 loss the Packers totally flipped, and with Rodgers they are 11-1 since then. At this rate the Packers are a legit contender and Aaron Rodgers might just win back to back MVP's.
